Thoughts on JK Rowling’s new book; “The Casual Vacancy”
Thoughts on JK Rowling’s new book; “The Casual Vacancy”
With all of the hype of Rowling being a billionaire who made it big because of her Harry Potter book series, it’s amazing to hear that after 5 years since “Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows” came out, she is working on making a new book which has entirely ZERO to do with magic/witchcraft whatsoever. My thought in hearing all of this (I will most definitely be buying her new book when it comes out the end of September) is whether or not Christians with a mindset against reading the Harry Potter books read her book now if it doesn’t have anything to do with magic. Should people give this author consideration for her book considering the subject matter that she is most familiar with (and has gained worldwide fame as a result) isn’t the case with this new book. Thoughts?

Klickitat Valley Baptist Church – Sermon on Isaiah 53
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MTSnOZI8fcM
This was the first sermon I preached during my 2nd “Revive This Nation” program with Southwestern seminary. I was speaking about the “Suffering Servant” that the prophet Isaiah speaks about in the 53rd chapter of his book, and how all of the signs he mentions point to Christ. I would greatly appreciate the feedback.
